What is your role at Tribal Textiles?
I’m the Office Administrator Accounts and ODOO support
This means data entry for purchases, Value Added Tax report and inventory. But underneath that title, I’m also a creative person who loves bringing order and beauty together.
How long have you been part of the team?
For nearly two years long enough and it feels so much like home, like I have been here for years
What do you enjoy most about your work?
The variety and the chance to be creative. Even in accounts and admin, I find creative ways to organize things and i love that Tribal lets me be both practical and creative.
What is your favorite part of working in the workshop?
The energy. Walking through the workshop and seeing paints on the teams’ hands, different designs and colors come to life, the focus to make something beautiful- it feeds my own creative spirit, even if I am energized to do my part by heading back to my spreadsheets.
How did you first come to work at Tribal Textiles?
I wanted a role where I could use my head for numbers but still be surrounded by creativity. Tribal was the perfect fit - I got to support artists while also bringing a bit of creative thinking to the office side of things.
What skill are you most proud of learning here?
We have this new system that needed our attention 100 and I’m proud of mastering it - ODOO and enhancing my creativity
What are you most proud of in your journey here?
I’m proud that I’ve stayed true to my creative nature while also becoming capable with systems and accounts.
What would you like people who buy Tribal products to know about your work?
I would like to let them know that creativity is not just in painting – it’s also in organizing, the problem solving, and the care that goes into running things behind the scenes so that art can shine.
What is something you think people don't know about Tribal?
I think people don’t realize how many creative souls work outside the painting studio. Some of us express creativity through spreadsheets, labels, tidy tables and clever systems- and Tribal Textiles celebrates that just as much as the boldest painted pattern.
