We have been supporting Hanada, a local orphanage since 2018 by providing a weekly delivery of fruit and vegetables.

Thanks to purchases through our online store, we have managed to do our part in supporting local orphanage Hanada with a total of $2,132.48.

This money was used to provide a weekly delivery of fruit and vegitables for the children up until 2025.

From the end of 2025 onwards, we have started weekly donations of mealie meal as Hanada started their own veggie garden.

Hanada Orphanage has started to run a garden project where all children can get involved. It enlightens the lives of all resident children including those with disabilities, who can find every day life very stressful.

Prior to switching to donating mealie meal, we partnered with Chikowa a local youth development centre that also boasts a very impressive farm, on which students are able to learn all about agriculture.

Every week through Chikowa we purchased vegetables and food for the orphanage Hanada.

Hanada Orphanage not only supports children who are left without family but also those who are vulnerable, have disbailities or have learning disabilities. Every purchase helps our necessary donations to ensure that all the children have a full and enriched life.
